Lamisil AT 1% (Lithobid) is an antifungal medication used to treat fungal infections of the skin and nails. Terbinafine hydrochloride is a relatively new antifungal medication that works by stopping the growth of fungi and thus cures infections. This product is available in the form of a strip of 4 mg/kg of Terbinafine (Lamisil AT 1%) dissolved in water.

For oral administration the tablet should be swallowed whole with water. For topical use only, do not cover the application area. The solution should be applied to the affected area on a dry and clean surface area basis. It should be administered at the same time of the day, at the same concentration, with the same frequency and at the same place. Wash hands and dry thoroughly. Do not cover the application area.
Lamisil AT 1% should be administered at the same time each day. If the medication has not been fully absorbed in the body in 24 hours, the treatment should be continued for the specified duration, with the evening light. After the treatment, the patient should be observed for any signs of improvement. Do not stop the treatment or change the dosage. If the treatment is stopped, the patient should be advised to resume the medication.
Lamisil AT 1% should not be administered to patients who are allergic to terbinafine or to any of the other ingredients in this product. The use of terbinafine hydrochloride 1% w/w can lead to the deposition of substances such as tannins, which can cause skin irritation. The product should be kept out of sight and reach of children. The medication should be stored at room temperature and away from excessive heat.
